I see magazines with no subscription labels called "newsstand" copies by sellers which makes sense, then I look closely at the CGC label and they are calling them "subscription inserts." What does this mean, not obvious to me, and why not call them newsstand as well?

I think it’s just whether the subscription insert(s) are present or have been removed.

That makes sense, thanks. It also seems if it has a label they call it a subscription copy, but don't have a designation for a newsstand copy, which I guess is obvious anyway from the absence of the label.
