Default MBA Grading? Minimum Size?

Hi,
I tried the search function but wasn't working so..

I'm looking at a couple of cards graded by Mike Baker. One has the qualifier of Minimum Size. Minimum Size definition says there is no evidence of trimming...

1. Is this considered a "qualifier" like ST or MK from PSA?...thereby knocking down the grade by 2 grades?
2. would you consider this "Authentic" like SGC/PSA?

Thanks for the opinions-no grading haters please.

I think the two grades downward adjustment is more of a PSA set registry thing. Not sure that it would apply in the same fashion for other slabs.

So did MBA actually slab your piece and label it as min size? Usually PSA won’t even slab it if it’s min size.

I think as a practical matter, there are some issues that are prone to smaller factory cuts. Seems like sometimes vending boxes end up there. Doesn’t mean that it’s not real or has been altered.

Thanks. Yes. But his definition is no signs of trimming but technically below factory specs. As you suggest, it is a 48 Bowman and, at least I have heard, they can vary in size a bit simply due to the tech at the time. Im sure i wasnt laser guided...

If PSA caught it as min-sized, they would slab it as Authentic only (if you request it by putting a sticky note on your sleeve) or return it ungraded.
