Default Help needed with Tigers' old-timers' signed ball

Hi, I just won this signed ball in the last Clean Sweep Auction, and it didn't include a COA. Clean Sweep said the Cobb, Crawford, Cochrane, Fox, Gehringer, Manion, York, Stanage and Sorrell aren't good, but the rest are. I believe this ball comes from 1958. I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to offer their opinions of the signatures displayed here, especially the Greenberg, Goslin, Moriarty and Jones. I appreciate any and all help!

I would venture to guess at least some of the ones they said are no good are fine. A few of them look pretty good for other team ball examples where space is limited. Stanage looks fine, Manion looks fine etc. Limited space can lead to a few weird characteristics. I have never seen Moriarty just use 'G' instead of 'Geo' but it looks good. Great ball!

The Cobb does look weird but I find it even weirder that there would be clubhouse signatures on this ball. I'm just trying to imagine the scenario where someone signs for Ty Cobb and Gehringer for some reason. These guys are known to be gracious signers. And if Cobb and Greenberg are in the same room, there must have been some kind of special event and the signatures are so spread around that if someone did sign all of them, they either did it after the ball was signed by everyone else or got the ball back multiple times throughout the signing to write another name down.

It makes me wonder if every team had its own Charlie the Brow.

Also, does anybody recognize this signature? It's the one above Sam Crawford.

Default Wahoo

I also don’t hate the Crawford. The “Wahoo” looks like it was built the way Sam would do them, but he got scrunched on that first loop so only did the second. If you were gonna fake the “Wahoo”, why would you mess up the W? Why wouldn’t you just write Sam Crawford? I don’t like that the “f” wasn’t crossed, but I think it’s probable that it was semi-rushed on a spherical surface.

The ball is in the middle below:
