| Need help to ID this old Christy Mathewson

Posted By: Scott I have recently inherited a cigar box full of pre WW1 baseball cards, most of which are from the Pacific Coast League. I did make a great find (other than a 1909 S74 Ty Cobb)and it is a Christy Mathewson which I have been unable to identify. It has the same Picture as the 1910 E98 "Annonymous set of 30" but the card is printed in a red ink. There are a couple other differences in the cards such as N.Y. being spelled out New York and the back is plain cardboard. I was unable to figure out how to post a picture on this message board through photo bucket so if you think you can help please email me and I will send you a picture. |
