Have any of you completed a one player version of the 518 set (1 Cobb, 1 Lajoie, etc)? How many cards does this come to? I'm thinking that may be the way my wallet and I want to go.

Good idea...if you only collect one of each last name, you can avoid Honus Wagner.
Even George Brown would save a few bucks over Mordecai.
