| Picked this up from a fellow board member

I know, I am always picking up Joe DiMaggio signatures, but I couldn't resist this one. The postmark on the back of the signature is September 7, 1940. On that day, the Yankees beat the Red Sox 4-3, and Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams each hit home runs. |

These two were close friends and were in Dallas together when Elvis did a show there, Oct 11, 1956. They signed these album pages.

Letter from Mickey Cochrane to his wife, sent during WWII. Oddly, two of these letters appeared in auctions in the same month! This one had the envelope, though.

That's a beautiful Cuyler sig...always enjoyed his signature style. I have met Kris a couple times outside the ballpark and it seems like he always does the rushed sig now...except for his now employer "fanatics," which you can pay a premium for a more consistent sig. However, I think yours still looks really good...some are hard to even make out now.

Just acquired from Republicaninmass....don't have it in hand but pretty excited to add it to my signed 1957 set. Already had a Giants team card signed by Hoyt Wilhlem and one by "Red" Schoendienst but this was unique enough that I couldn't pass on. After his playing career, Carl Hubbell joined the Giants front office as farm director in 1944 and stayed with the team until 1977. |

Original Charles Schulz drawing of Snoopy as a "dog of the cloth". Originally done by Schulz as a gift to a clergyman friend who in turn gave it to another clergyman upon the first one's passing. As a big fan of the strip and of the dog, happy to add this to my collection. |

| I have been looking for one of these for a while now. Finally got a nice one. Funny thing is that 35 of the 36 people pictured signed it. The only one that didn't??? Bobby Doerr GAH!! I know he still signed TTM but there is zero chance I am sending this to him. Is he well enough that he does any public appearances? Was he at the HOF induction ceremony last year?? Tom C |

Fly to Junction City Oregon and ring his doorbell. I am being serious, I did this with Al Lopez back in 1997, he couldn't have been any nicer (although I did write first to let him know I was coming).

The piece is so nice that it would a shame to be short Doerr's signature to complete it. I would send a letter or call him and explain the situation and see if there is a good solution for you. You would be surprised how many older HoFers and ballplayers have/had their phone numbers listed. It would be worth a try in my opinion.
