I am not en expert on bats, but my research indicates this was made prior to 1910. Abstein's career was pretty much over by then anyway. Fred Clarke once commented that he was amazed at how many different ways Abstein could find to lose a game. He must not have been too bad, because he was the regular first baseman for the World Series champs, the Pirates, in 1909. SOLD
