can you deduct your travel expenses to the National as a business expense?

I would certainly hope so, legit travel expense to purchase cards to conserve. Pretty sure it has happened many many times already.

If one is a client of such a doctor, can they deduct the service as a medical expense?

I believe medicare will reimburse for travel expenses incurred for card doctor appointments. They have been known to "trim" the bill before cutting the check, however, but the checks are pristine.
