Need to pick an experienced collectors brain

Not sure really where to post this, figured watercooler would be best. I have a deal on the table for a couple of vintage cards, and I want to see if I'm getting a fair shake. Has to deal with two cards from the 1950's. If someone wouldn't mind hearing out the deal and offering their opinion, it would be greatly appreciated, through a PM of course. Have you gone to vintagecardprices.com and looked up comparative sales? I think you can do a free trial or even a one day subscription. Can search a huge database of past sales figures.

I did exactly that, and also got in contact with a member from here. I appreciate the suggestion though.
