What are some of your all time favorite covers over the years? I love the affordability and the mag just connects to so many of us over the years…. Love to see you favorite SI baseball issues! Jeff

Bill Freehan: https://sicovers.com/featured/detroi...t=canvas-print Any of the white background covers from the 50's: https://vault.si.com/vault/1958/03/3...art-of-hitting Herb Score: https://sicovers.com/featured/clevel...product=poster Kailne and Kuenn: https://sicovers.com/featured/detroi...ted-cover.html Unfortunately, I don't have the Kaline and Kuenn and Score covers signed but still great covers!

This will forever be my favorite SI cover.

He signed this for me at one of his workouts for his fight with Jimmy Ellis in 1971. I had no concern with future value back then so I used another picture to cover the label. It's been on my wall in one frame or another since then.

Baseball's appeal isn't complicated or confusing. It's about the beauty of the game; it's about heroes and family and friends; it's about being part of something larger than yourself, about tradition---receiving it and passing it; and it's about holding on to a bit of your childhood.
