| #8 PSA Registry Set - 521 all PSA Graded - Avg. 6+

NLFS- consigned to Memory Lane to be sold as set break in Spring Auction The set is 521 cards -- this is the entire set, including a Maggie error PSA 3, but not the Wagner or Plank (and I no longer own the Doyle). The set is 100% graded by PSA. All HOFers are at least a 6, with many 7. This set is currently listed #8 on the registry here: https://www.psacard.com/psasetregist...shedset/598760 There are numerous rare backs. Some Highlights are pictured below I am open to realistic offers. Last edited by Rhotchkiss; 02-10-2024 at 04:16 AM. |

Thanks all. It’s an amazing set. I honestly have no exact idea if value - I am not sitting down and comping 521 individual cards! I just noticed that Heritage is closing a very high graded set-break in 5 days and that should provide some clarity on value.

| T206 Set

I've watched some of these set breaks where you buy a random spot and wondered how a high end set would actually do. I don't know the inside details on how they work, but inquiring to some here that do. Any thoughts on how many spots would sell for $1,000/each? Knowing just about every card could be at least $500 with a ton of chances of major upside; would it be possible to get 1500 spots sold? It would be a fun one to watch.

I thought the same thing. Looking at it twice, I believe he's asking if you could get $1,5oo spots (521 of them)...maybe?

Ha, my bad...I meant $1,500 for each spot but that is only about 800k is the problem. I guess they need to be $2500+ each.

Sets 5-8 are all pretty close in set rating. #7 (happens to be my set) is roughly 16 points better (think 16 commons 1 grade higher generally) based on how PSA weighs the set. I say zero of that for anything more than context as Ryan could easily put that set in the top 5 if he wanted to. It's simply a gorgeous set he has and anyone would love to own it! |

Nice, very nice set...ok, I'm in full covet mode. Please forgive me. I'm at 518 cards and #26 and feel guilty at looking at these. But seriously, CONGRATS !! I'm sure the journey is still personal & priceless, but it's wise to test the waters at some point. Blessing to you during this next journey. -Tracy
