T206 Southern Leaguer Proofs

Does anyone know who won the Mastro lot of eight southern leaguer T206 proofs in 1999? (see below link) Have any of these cards resurfaced at auction since then? Has anyone confirmed the identity of the players shown? Any thoughts on what this lot would sell for today? Thanks.

I don't know who bought them, but they have not resurfaced at auction to my knowledge.

Keith did purchase these proofs and he then wrote a great article entitled, "Eight Men In" in the Vintage & Classic Baseball Collector.

now those are what proofs are supposed to look like. Not like those "proofs" we always see on eBay where the seller is living a pipe dream because the card has a blank back.
