did you bid on the PSA 1 that just ended on eBay? i think it went for about $5300...my friend just sold his PSA 3...sorry. |

Yes, I put a snipe in -- at a price that I thought was aggressive, given that the starting bid was $4,000 and there were no bids with 1:30 seconds left in the auction. But with 10 seconds left I got outsniped before my snipe even got recorded. |

The grade is SGC 10 -- in some ways it is in better condition than the PSA 1 on ebay a week ago -- I think it has far less creasing; but it has more substantial roughness/tearing on the border than that one did. As a result, I was able to negotiate a deal which reflected the recent auctions for SGC 10's and 20's landing in the low $4,000's, but with the PSA 1 sale as likely showing an increase in that market. |
