I won a boxing lot recently and one card kinda' stumped me (alhough that's not hard to do).
An exhibit of Charly Norkus (normal image) is on very, very thin stock, and has a gloss to it (like a Fatima). Any ideas ?? Thanks Scott |

It is an ad piece. Early ESCO machine fronts used actual cards glued to the backing board. Later they printed the card fronts on glossy paper and used those instead. I guess it was lighter and easier to work with.
