Wyrostek variation?

Talk about variations....Does anyone have or has anybody ever seen another 1948 leaf, Wyrostek with the uniform detail that is in the PSA 5? Maybe the card is something special!!

Now why did you have to say that and make me do it. I would have gone my whole life without ever googling Wyrostek images. There is no turning back the clock now.

Leon..... The stripes look legit to me and PSA.

Chris..... I agree a scan of Wyrostek! UGH!

I have been collecting 1949 LEAF cards since I was a kid. I have never seen a Wyrostek with the uniform striping as your have depicted.
If it's legit, it's certainly a rare variant.

Ditto. Even AFTER reading Jim's comment I had to do it. Can't be that bad, I thought. Next time I will quit while I'm ahead.
