Did anybody pick anything up last night in Legendary's Day 1? Curious to see who got some of the CJs and the 1956 Hocus Focus lot.

Nice Cards Pete! I have a question(more into memorabilia anymore and kind of lost touch with card market) but is GAI still strong in cards? I know that if I see an autograph authenticated I assume it is fake. I remember at the same time that started, the cards were still strong though. How is a GAI slabbed cars revered these days?

GAI is not strong, though the cards are likely to be genuine. Unlike the autograph side, I'm not aware they grade fakes or reprints.

I would have to presume on a single high dollar card the insurance cost is what causes the stratospheric price.

Yeah, only 2x the actual cost....(including insurance) In their defense they have worked with me, time wise, quite a bit on paying off some lots I have won.

I was an underbidder on the CJ Cobb. Really wanted that but couldn't pull the trigger at the price. This is a nice hobby - when you lose, you end up with a lot of money in your pocket
