Am I colorblind? Bad Scans? Taking newbies for a ride?

Reprint?? The front clarity isn't all that great, looks a little grainy IMO.

Good spot. You are correct...this card is a fake.

Along with other things already mentioned, the lettering at the bottom is too close to the image.

It's a reprint. Also note the players name/team on the front is printed in black ink. Real T206s have the name/team printed in brown ink. Complete reprint, not the next 'blue back Old Mill' sensation.

I am giving myself a pay on the back for looking at this and realizing immediately that it's a fake. I am getting better and learning more about the hobby.

It's one of the things that I enjoy doing, my friend. I remember being new at this hobby. Exposing trash listings is the least us old farts can do......
