| Probstein BIN's

I didn't know they did this... the prices aren't bad. Thought they only ran standard auctions http://www.ebay.com/itm/1910-Piedmon...16.m2518.l4276 |

I am a batman fan/collector so I have noticed for a very long time that he does BIN... at least he has on his batman proof/transparency cards that came from the tops vault. They are all listed at $500. I think I bought half and he must have bought the other half and instantly put them up for $500. His have been listed this way for at least 6 years.

I think some of his consignors prefer to sell at fixed prices. He has always had a combination of auctions and BINs as far as I remember.

What I don't understand about many of his auctions (other sellers too) is why they expect someone to pay a good price for a piece of paper that is over 100 years old when they don't even show a picture of the back.

I've often noticed the same problem with a lot of postcard listings, 1 or 2 pictures of the front and none of the back.

Too many sellers are just pure lazy. Every item I list includes the front and back. I also put large scans in my description. I want everything to be as clear as possible.
