FS/FT: 1917 E135 Collins-McCarthy Rookie Card of HOFer Sam Rice
This is a truly scarce card - The PSA pop report shows just 1 blank back - The SGC pop report shows 5 (SGC does not seem to distinguish between blank backs and Collins-McCarthy backs).
As you can see from the photos, this card is in pathetic condition! But, it does have nice centering. Plus, I guarantee this card will receive a numerical grade from PSA/SGC, but I'll be shocked if it grades higher than a PSA 1 or a SGC 10. Nevertheless, this card will (hopefully) appeal to a budget-conscious collector of pre-WWII rookie cards. Price is $275 delivered. Or, will trade it for/toward something I need - e.g., type cards, Sam Rice cards, WaJo cards, and cards of other players on the 1924 Wash. Senators team (e.g., Bucky Harris, Goose Goslin, Joe Judge, Peckinpaugh, Bluege, Mogridge, Zachary, etc.).
