That being said, due to the age of the thread, I was no longer able to edit the title to alert people as to what was coming down the pipe, when it was ending, etc. Rather than bother Leon everytime I wanted to change the title, I am forced to make a new thread!!! I have also come to a crossroads in my life. I have lost my very first card. Ever. It was a graded 1933 Sport Kings Gene Tunney (a boxer). Yes, like most collectors that have been in the game for awhile, my collection is HUGE. I have cards and what not stuck in various nooks and crannies all about my abode. Even though I have piles of stuff EVERYWHERE, I know where everything is. Losing the card made me realize that I have to pare stuff down. I can't just keep buying stuff, stashing it away, and forgetting about it. So, that being said, I embarked on another first. I opened an Ebay store. I have had an amazon store for YEARS. Ebay was a different matter. The store will allow me to list more. I am putting up more raw cards for example. If it goes well the first couple of months, I will keep the store and list more. I have enough stuff to keep me selling for years if I was able to do it full time. As it stands now, I have a full time job, and the cards are just a "hobby", although one that monopolizes quite a bite of my time.
