In the pick up of John Wagner's hobby letters, and the back and forth with Burdick, there were also around a dozen letters from Charles Bray to Wagner.....Here are the first ones..

Back in the 40s I don't think nude cards were as well received as they might be in the years forward....
"I am not interested in the nude pictures any more than to see them...." Bray .

I have some of those "nude" "actress" cards from the 1880s, and they're pretty tame by today's standards. But I get the impression that Bray was pretty straightlaced in general.
As you can probably guess, I love these letters, Leon. Keep 'em coming! |
