1989 PSA SAMPLE - Dale Murphy

It isn't a sportscard but one could call it a piece of hobby history. When PSA began marketing its service they apparently slabbed a host of 1989 Topps Dale Murphy #210 cards. I found mine at a local swap meet and when I saw it I had to look up ebay on my phone real quick to make sure it was legit. After seeing a couple others for sale I decided it was legit and bought it just for the story behind it despite the the fact that the case had been yellowed due to sun exposure. If you're a Murphy collector and didn't know about these perhaps they're something to add to your want list. I couldn't find any other sample examples other than 1989 Topps Murphy but wonder if any others exist? If you have one, post it here to share!

I have a 1986 Randy Ready PSA sample. There are a couple 1991 Ken Griffeys on eBay.
