Default Cadaco board game checklist

Everyone probably remembers those baseball board game that had the discs. Every year the company came out with a new set of discs based on the players performance the previous year.

Has anyone ever done a checklist of the players from each year? There's no real way of telling what year a particular game is from just by looking at the box.

Hi Mark -- you betcha there are plenty of guys still spinning on Ethan Allen All-Star Baseball.
Their forum is here: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...eballGame/info
-- and the Files section there has an annotated list of the disc sets from every year of production.
You'll have to register with the site to access that file. Very, very friendly and helpful group of fellas.

This is why I love those board and it's people.

For years I have wanted to get a a specific
Cadaco game that I remember from my youth, but knowing they changed players I had no clue which one I wanted. I figured it would be impossible to find exactly what I wanted.

A board member sent me the complete checklist (thanks Howard) and combining my memory with that I list I concluded I wanted the 1977A version.

I just grabbed one from eBay.

Bucket list item found!

My brother and I had a blast playing this game as youngsters.(late 60's version) We choose teams and played a schedule of games, then the play offs. A lot of fun. A few years ago I purchased a couple of the games a quite a few extra discs. I'm hoping that our schedules will let us get together in the near future and rekindle the fun.

I'd love to see the complete checklist of these myself. I have accumulated hundreds, maybe thousands of these discs from the 1950s through the 1980s, some even from mailing the company. My son has most of them now, but I've never seen a complete listing of what is available.

Would anyone be kind enough to forward me a complete checklist? I picked up a mix of discs (1960's era) today from a local estate sale and would like to sort them by year/season.

Thank you.

*Bump* Found a nearly complete 1951 set at an antique mall in San Antonio this week on my business trip.

Was this the first year full names were used? I saw some 1940s discs online with just last names (like DiMaggio). There also may be variations, because some of the discs included had a dot under the 6 (to show they weren't 9's) and some did not.

The discs were, in alpha order:
A-E, F-J, Yogi Berra, Lou Boudreau, Tommy Byrne, Roy Campanella, Sam Chapman, Gerry Coleman, Alvin Dark, Bob Dillinger, Larry Doby, Walt Dropo, Luke Easter, Bob Elliott, Del Ennis, Hoot Evers, Bob Feller, Grady Hatton, Ken Heintzelman, Gil Hodges, Larry Jansen, Sam Jethroe, Willie Jones, George Kell, Ralph Kiner, Ted Kluszewski, Bob Lemon, Whitey Lockman, Stan Musial, Hal Newhouser, Andy Pafko, Mel Parnell, Howie Pollet, Jerry Priddy, Vic Raschi, Pee Wee Reese, Phil Rizzuto, Robin Roberts, Aaron Robinson, Jackie Robinson, Preacher Roe, Al Rosen, Johnny Sain, Red Schoendienst, Andy Seminick, Duke Snider, Warren Spahn, Vern Stephens, Birdie Tebbetts, Henry Thompson, Dizzy Trout, Mickey Vernon, Dick Wakefield, Vic Wertz, Wally Westlake, Ted Williams, Gus Zernial. One of the original discs also had the player information cut out, so it's just the ring with the scoring.

In the game was also 4 home-made (not filled in blanks, as far as I can tell) discs: Nelson Fox, Ned Garver, Gil McDougald, and Gerry Staley.
