Listening to the Braves game and heard mention of the Axe bat?

Perhaps the "Baltimore Chop" will experience a resurgence.

The website doesn't seem to show any adult wood bats. Did MLB change to allow composites?

Maybe the MLB players are using wooden bats but with these "axe handles"? Suppose to reduce injuries?

Probably, I can't imagine MLB changing something like that and it not being a big deal.
I couldn't find any in their online store on the website, so maybe the pro level wood bats are custom and for pros only? |
