Bill O'Hara played only 2 years in the Major Leagues (1909 & 1910); nevertheless, he is well-known mainly due to his rare T206 St. Louis Cardinals variation card.

He returned to his hometown, Toronto, playing the outfield for the Maple Leafs of the International League (1910 - 1915). He batted for an average of .273 during those 6 years with Toronto. There aren't too many Bill O'Hara cards out there. Here's mine......and, how's about showing us your O'Hara cards. ![]() ![]() . ![]() . ![]() TED Z . |

A really great picture of O'Hara. Thanks for posting it. Quote:

Orion If you are referring to the T-cards with "blue captions" issued during 1913 -1919 (T213-2, T213-3, T214, and T215-2....O'Hara was not printed in any of these sets. The cost of this sharp-looking O'Hara card was very reasonable.....you could say the "A" is an abbreviation for affordable ![]() ![]() TED Z T206 Reference . Love the unibrow look on the C46, but is that the same guy as the Ramey and M116?

Judson....The picture of O'Hara in Baseball-Reference.com is the same picture on O'Hara's T204 card. The picture on his C46 card appears to be some one else.

I was typing away at my post during when you just posted; therefore, I missed your post. So, we can conclude that the T204, M116, and Baseball-Reference.com depict Tom O'Hara. And, the C46 card depicts the correct image of Bill O'Hara. TED Z T206 Reference . Last edited by tedzan; 01-09-2019 at 07:15 PM. Reason: Correct typo. |

That link to flickr doesn't actually show a photo for me, but maybe it works for others. I'm guessing/hoping/expecting (but most of all failing to remember if) that 1907 National League Composite shows Tom O'Hara. Regards, Richard. |
