Jay- Thank you so much for reaching out. That's a lovely Ferguson cabinet! There are a number of non-OJ cabinets of Ferguson that I've seen pictures of, but haven't seen available for trade/sale anywhere. That post about a Ferguson cabinet was made in 2009. Eight years later, I was able to pick up this beauty and add to my collection Am delighted I was able to cross off that White Whale from my want list. My next one may be a bit harder. I think I've now got a desire for a KBats Harry Wright |

Interesting that this thread pops back up 10 years later. The white whale I was searching for I landed just a few weeks ago. I don’t know exactly how long I had been searching for it but this thread is 9 or 10 years old now and according to my post I had been searching for years without luck.

While I could name any of several WaJo cards as my whale, being as I am working on a master set of Sam Rice cards, of the Rice cards that I don't have but I know exist, the one I'll likely never have in my collection is his 1917 D350-2 Standard Biscuit card.

Dan, from that pic, the card is clearly undergraded. What’s the issue that gave it a low grade, because it looks like 5?

You got me. It does have a moderate amount of caramel staining and a wrinkle on the reverse that shows through on the front chest under certain lighting where the card is almost see through due to a caramel stain. Honestly, that's it. PWCC agreed and gave it a "High End" sticker for whatever that's worth, but I bought it from a board member. I consider myself lucky because I couldn't have afforded even a PSA 2 more than likely

A signed 1953 Topps Howie Fox. Also keeping an especially sharp eye out for Vern Stephens and Dizzy Trout. I was the underbidder on the Trout that Clean Sweep sold a couple years ago, and haven't seen one since. Likewise, I haven't yet seen a Fox or Stephens.

I guess the one that has gone to the top of my list is the T206 Davidson Drum Back. I have a nice, complete run of Davidson which includes some pretty difficult cards with the exception of a gaping hole where the Drum should be. If I ever find one, I can only hope it's no better than a 2. There an SCG A out there somewhere...maybe it will find it's way into may collection to complete my run.
