Unless trimmed, and it happens, this card is virtually always centered like this, or worse, so this is effectively very close to a mint card. I don't see any surface issue. A rookie year issue, in my opinion, as Star was a legitimate licensed product and I don't know why the 1986 3rd year Fleer is considered his "rookie" card.

$480 dlvd. better than any price on ebay I am confident.

That really is a nice Jordan, I checked mine and it looks a little thinner than yours. If I didn’t just spend a bunch of money I’d think about upgrading to a “full size” example. I find it interesting that the early star Jordan’s don’t get more love.

Yeah unfortunately IMO a lot of these have been given some loving attention by some bad dudes. Let me know of course if you change your mind. And yes, self-serving of course, but these cards seem tremendously undervalued, my price isn't much more than an 86 (third year) sticker in an 8. And a fraction of what a 101 sells for. Go figure.
