According to the vast majority of blowout posters, cards without subgrades are effectively worthless.

I wouldn’t call them worthless, but they seem to go about 10%-15% less than cards with the sub grades listed. They are definitely more liquid with the sub grades as well.

Problem is I have a bunch of Star Co that I need back in time for my October auction and a bunch of them wouldn't make sense at $100 per, but $40 per is doable. Thanks for the info guys.

I imagine if you're a Beckett devotee you want subgrades. If you aren't then you don't want Beckett. So a premium for subs does make sense to me.
