I've been looking for this card in EXMT condition for a couple of months and see what may be a variation or printing issue on the card. Some of the 54 T Mays cards contain a white mark near his elbow in the batting pose, circled here. Is this a printing issue, a variation, or something else? Thanks!
This picture was grabbed to show the issue, I know it's not an EXMT copy.

![]() That's considered a recurring print defect.

This card was highlighted somewhere in the never ending variation thread. Not only is it recurring as John mentions, but it commonly recurs

Thanks to OP for the question and to swarmee and ALR for responding. I have seen this as well and had the same question.

The fact the defect recurs so often to me raises the question was it an early defect noticed and corrected ? Was it a DP ? Or was just a defect that occurred in a bunch of runs during the printing process ?
