Michael Jordan 1986-87 Sticker CSG Graded - $849 LOWERED

Looking for $849 net to me.

This sticker is well centered and razor sharp. I tried out CSG and in my opinion, they have no idea what they are doing. This is definitely a better card than EX-MINT. I am considering cracking it out of the case to send to PSA or SGC in hopes of a 7 or 8 (both of which sell for much more than my asking price). See scans. I think you'll agree.

VCP average for SGC 6s is $1386. Happy to hear offers.

There is no price posted, so I am going to submit an offer based on the technical grade. My offer is $725. Here's how I derived at that number:

The last 2 PSA 6's sold for $860.00 and $799.00 (both this week).

The last 2 SGC 6's sold for $640.00 (just this week) and $661.81 (at the end of May).

Granted, it definitely has better eye appeal than a 6 based on the scan, but my offer is based on the technical grade. You can try cracking it out and resubmitting it, but a tiny hidden surface wrinkle gets you no more than a 5 with PSA or SGC.

Edited to add: if you'll guarantee a higher grade if cracked and re-summitted, then I can definitely go higher. If you can't guarantee that, I certainly understand. Either way, someone is taking a gamble.

No way CSG gets PSA pricing, so using VCP averages for SGC for closer numbers. It's 1386.35. So, clearly, we are WAY off.

I'm just telling you what the last 2 SGC 6's sold for on eBay. The numbers are right there on their site - $640.00 & $661.80 respectively. I don't have VCP, but I have a hard time believing that VCP average for an SGC 6 is $1386.35 when the last 2 on eBay sold for less than half that. But maybe I'm wrong, who knows? Good luck with the sale.

I'm truly surprised that people still use VCP.

According to the screenshot:

A 6.5 is worth less than a 6
A 7.5 is worth less than a 7
A 8.5 is worth less than a 8

I think the half grades get so little sales data, that the numbers get skewed.
