Question about a Cubs mini bat
My wife bought me a Cubs mini bat. She is not a sports fan but knew I am a Cub guy so she bought it for me. I really appreciated the thought. My question is: this is a non-descript Cubs mini bat -Cooperstown Sports/MLBP 2004 but it has what appears to be an authentication sticker on it - SR43656484. I don't know who this is from or even if it is an authentication sticker. There is nothing else on the bat. If it is, why?
Appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks, that probably is it since it is from 2004. I have never seen a sticker on a licensed product before.
