Default Fanatics Collect Fail
I should have read through these boards earlier to know PWCC became fanatics, but man did they screw over bidders this week. I was the high bidder on a 206 Mathewson last night but they magically reopened the bidding again today due to technical issues. Card is now $100 more than my winning bid last night…

Has anyone seen this before, even at other auction sites?

Live and learn I guess

It happened at least once with REA, as I recall. Goldin several times. PWCC previously. It happens, nothing malevolent about it IMO.

Ah fair enough. Ive participated in a handful of auctions but definitely not an every quarter thing so this is a first for me. Good to know though. It’s been a while since I became attached to an auction card. I thought I had it ha!

Fanatics ability to take the best auction platform in the entire hobby and turn it into the worst platform with the worst customer experience in a matter of months is a remarkable achievement. Kudos to you Fanatics! I tip my hat.

This is true. The old PWCC auction platform was user friendly and easy to navigate through.

The new updated Fanatics platform is cumbersome and slow. Honestly I hardly visit it anymore because of this.

Yeah, I figured there had to be others who felt that each tweak they make to the platform makes it less pleasant to use. It’s really strange, some of the things they’ve done.
