Default Question on 1968 Venezuelan Seaver

Thought I read that #45 Seaver (and maybe others?) doesn't have "Hecho en Venezulela" on the back at the bottom. The two examples for sale on ebay both have it.

Just looking for clarification, thanks!

Mccovey, Marichal, and Mays all have it.

My Seaver does not have the "Hecho en Venezuela" line. I was unaware of the variation with it.

Default It is my understanding that they either "have it" or "do not"

I am not 100%, but I believe all of the 1968's are supposed to have the "Hecho ...." line. I am also almost certain there are NO Venezuelan cards that can be found both with the "Hecho..." line and without it - all examples of a particular card will either have it or not. Josh Alpert (Net54 member) is one of a couple of guys expert in them that could confirm or clarify.

Lastly, PSA has made/is making more than a few mistakes grading regular Topps cards as Venezuelans - be really careful out there!

I am actively buying and selling vintage sports cards graded and raw. Feedback as a buyer: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=297262

I am accepting select private consignments of quality vintage cards (raw or graded) and collecting "want" lists for higher end ($1K+) vintage cards.

Here are scans of the front and back of my 1968 Topps, O-Pee-Chee, and Venezuela Seavers in order. My Venezuelan back is clearly different from the Topps and O-Pee-Chee backs and does not have the "Hecho..." line. Also, it's a little hard to tell in the scan, but the front of the Venezuelan looks much more like the O-Pee-Chee than the Topps.

Yeah my Venezuelan Seaver doesn't have the "Hecho" line either, and I didn't think any Seavers had it, hence why I was confused with the 2 on ebay that do have it.

Thanks for everyone's input so far!

I would say yours does have it, I believe I can see it but faintly. What is believed it it more like a color bleed that a missing trademark. You can see it on lots of different cards , some partial missing, some fully missing.
Yes the Seaver does seem to be talked about the most but it’s on multiple or possibly all cards depending on what you have or the more you look for it.
If you had hundreds or thousands of cards you would probably find several.
Heavier ink seems to be the culprit not missing it all together.
