Default Could use help to identify a baseball team logo

I could use some help. I am trying to identify the team in the photos.

The players are Bob Stanley and George Foster. I assume these are from the early 1990's. The uniforms appear to be Red Sox Style. I am thinking these are some sort of Senior League. The collection they came from was a sports reporter in upstate NY, so a trip to MASS would not be out of their range.

The hats are not easy to see. The hat is dark blue with a white S with some Orange.

Any help is appreciated.

Jim

According to wikipedia, George Foster played for the St. Lucie Legends in 1989, and the St. Petersburg Pelicans in 1990; both Florida teams in the Senior Pro BB Association.

It looks like it says SOX on the cap, where the S is in white, and the O and X are in red within the S.
Foster appears to be wearing a Red Sox uniform. I can make out RE on the left side of the jersey.

Maybe something made for an old timer's game or Spring Training?

Stanley and Foster were teammates on a barnstorming team called the New England Grey Sox, put together by Bill Lee in the early 1990s. My guess is the logo does reference Sox and these photos might be from that team.
