I'm hoping Judge has a great post season. I felt bad for him when he dropped the fly ball last year. He doesn't deserve to be known for that.

I do hope Judge turns his postseasons around but it’s a good thing we have the king of October in Stanton.

Give him a break.
Judge was just trying to emulate Snodgrass, whose dropped a fly ball in the 1912 World Series, and is still remembered for it. Do any of you remember that Snodgrass also became the mayor of Oxnard after his playing days? What's more important just another MVP for Judge or immortality?

I'm also hoping Stanton reverts back to his 2023 form. |

Raleigh is the MVP for me. Good arguments on both sides, and yes had checked out Ted’s 1941 stats about 2 weeks ago. Judge/Yankee fatigue might be coming into play but 60 bombs and leading the league in RBI for a division winning team from behind the plate 120 times, unheard of. In MLB History I think only 3 or 4 catchers had previously hit more than 40 HR’s. Here in Sox nation getting ready for Sox-Yanks in about 1 hour, should be as good as ever.

Drove in four runs against Toronto. Judge hit 600 against them.
Everyone on the Mets didn’t play an inning. |

Not sure what the Mets have to do with "Mr. October"
But here were his stats for October: 7 games 26 ABs .192 BA 0 HR 4 "total" RBIs in the entire Playoffs Please apologize to Reggie and don't ever use that name for Stanton again. |

The Mets being terrible is the only reason you’re posting about the Yankees, who did not miss the playoffs.

The real MVP hit a game tying HR last night to get within one win from the WS.

To me it's Judge and it's not even close. Raleigh had a season for the ages - especially for the position - but I can't overlook a league-leading .331 BA vs. a .247 BA when all of the other numbers are comparable. I haven't looked it up, but I doubt a player with a sub .250 BA has ever won an MVP award.

IMO Raleigh is the MVP it’s not even close. We all know the offensive #’s and they are unbelievable. The clincher for me is he also led the Majors in innings caught 1072 and an incredible 17000+ pitches without a passed ball all for a division winning team. It doesn’t come into play but even after all that he’s caught every playoff inning including the entire 15 inning 210 pitch marathon against the Tigers. Judge had another great season but man, Raleigh’s may never again be duplicated.
