I won't bore everybody with the painful details, but Fed Ex has done it again and failed to deliver a package containing some nice cards, including a '52 Berk Ross Mantle, which were retrieved from the Fanatics vault. Fed Ex claimed it was delivered and signed for but won't show proof of delivery even after I went to their main delivery depot in my area. I do have a case file and am proceeding to file a claim.
I have reached out to Fanatics to see if the package was insured, which surely it was, but cannot get past the chat bots. Does anybody have a tel. no. for them where I can reach a live person? I believe there is a sales rep assigned to my account but his name has been lost. Any help much appreciated. |

I hate to say it, but check and see if a company has good customer service (at least a human answered phone number) BEFORE you trust them.

Anytime I have something delivered by FedEx I put a hold on it and pick it up myself. Package doesn't even have to leave the facility. Too many horror stories.

Does not matter how many times you stamp the package as fragile. The more it’s marked “fragile”, the more beaten-up it will arrive from FedEx. If there’s one thing they excel at more than losing packages, it’s mangling them… especially when the contents are irreplaceable.

Thanks guys, Well, I reached out to some Yokel (live person) at Fanatics tel. # provided. Well, I explained and pleaded to him about my missing package and he retorted it was not his area of expertise but he would alert the right people and they would call me back. Yeah, and pigs might fly. That was Monday, so now I know he was blowing smoke. He did acknowledge Fanatics had sent the package. I will call them again today. Isn't life difficult enough these days without this crap.

What a pain. If you deal with reputable AHs like REA, LOTG, Heritage, Hunts, Lelands, Clean Sweep, Mile High, Huggins & Scott, etc., you'll get much more customer service than from these types of outfits.

I called and called, and all I received at the end of about 15 rings was a bot effectively telling me to go on do the anatomically impossible. Where is Batman when you need him?

Did you have to pay anything to have the cards shipped if you were retrieving them from the Fanatics vault? If so, can you get your credit card company involved?

Just a thought, but if somebody has a Fanatics customer rep they could call, describe the problem and point me in the right direction, it might help. These Orcs haven't answered their service no. all day. Disgraceful.
