'34 Goudey Hallahan PSA 6 on eBay: Trimmed?

Is this an optical delusion or does the Hallahan look about a yard shorter than the Collins, and, if so, do '34 Goudeys vary in size, and , if not, why was this card graded and a six, to boot?

That Hallahan card looks like a midget next to the other one!

Look at all that excess space in the holder that was designed specifically for the factory measurements of the 1934 Goudey cards!

Shave and a haircut ... two bits!!

not trimmed, cards in the 30s were cut different sizes, heck even the 41 goudeys were cut different angles.
