After numerous requests (well, two) I have resurrected, improved and enlarged a previous site of mine. There are now two sites, one for 19th century cards and one for pre-WW II cards. Both homepages contain a link to the other. Most of the pages contain an email link. There are over 750 cards shown, including type pieces, complete sets and near sets. You will find E-cards, D-cards, N-cards, T-cards, etc. Most of the sets began as type pieces and then things got out of hand.

What is the point of this exercise? It seems cheaper and more expedient to share my collection via the internet than to invite any and all interested parties to the west coast, and, it seems pointless to assemble the collection and not share it with those simlarly afflicted. It's not the biggest, most valuable or most comprehensive collection in the world. It's just a bunch of stuff I like. Are collectors interested in viewing the collections of others on-line? That's a good question. I am, and perhaps some of you are as well.

Enjoyed your 20th century site very much. You have some beautiful cards...including some that I have hunting for like the T222 Bresnahan and D304 Chief Meyers. Gives me hope that someday I may find some nice examples as well.

I really appreciate you sharing your collection with us!
As I stated in an earlier post, pesonal collector websites
have an untapped potential to enrich the hobby. (Both commercial and non-commercial).
I'm a west coast collector too (I'm hoping to be at the SABR Vancouver meet Aug. 14)
and the relative isolation collecting-wise makes the internet essential.

Thanks for sharing the link and some wonderful images with us... you've got a wonderful collection and should be rightfully proud of it.

I'll echo Dans sentiments that its really nice to see collectors start personal sites like this to share with their fellow collectors.

I've started to put some of my own collection online over the past couple of months and actually just added images from the E-75 American Caramel Prize Fighters set this evening in case anyone would like to take a look....
