BCCG - I don't get it

I'm not attuned to BCCG. I've seen cards graded by BVG that appear ok (fairly graded). Does BCCG have a new standard in grading:

I don't understand a 5 being "poor or better" - I just thought it was humorous.

bccg is beckett's cheap-o grading system tailored for the home shopping network and other bargain schlock. their grading 'standards' if you can call them that are non-existant.
