Storage of SCG Graded Cards?

I have a question about storing SCG graded cards. I recently started in the process of grading my collection. My dilemma now is how do I store graded SCG cards? I would like to store them in plastic pages however I find the 4 pocket pages are a little small for SCG graded cards. I know Ultra-Pro makes slabbed pages for PSA and Beckett graded cards however SCG cards do not fit in these pages. Does anyone know of any pages that would hold SCG cards?

Here is how they look (note that I use a small piece of scotch tape on the top two slabs on each page to keep them secure (its not necessary on the bottom two slabs).

depends on the size of the binder. I use the collector series binders from mj roop, which use 3" D rings, and I can put 9 pages of 4 (36 cards) in each. You could probably fit a 10th sheet (40 cards) but it would be right to the top of the binder and may put a little stress on the top sheet. Its not a ton, but its better than the hard plastic pages for psa/gai/bgs cards that Bob mentioned - you can only fit 4 or 5 of them in a binder.

oh, and since the pages are not technically made for slabs, I keep my binders stored flat.

Thanks! For the info. I currently have BCW plastic pages. I am going try Ultra-Pro pages, as they seem to be a better fit.

Also,I have 10 PSA plastic boxes that hold 20 cards each if anyone is interested. And yes! They store VAMS nicely as well!

Josh, were those your pictures that were up here earlier, they were really nice with a nice binder. I think you said they fit about 9-10 pages of the 4-card holders each. Can you provide a link where I can get them? I couldn't find on MJroop.

I picked up some plastic storage boxes from Wal mart for $1.97 that holds 50 slabs, any company. They hold 2 rows of 25 perfectly. Hinged lid and see through so you can tell what is in it. The only drawback, and it is not a problem for me is that they fit in sideways, not standing straight up.

is a convenient album to store SGC-graded PC sized holders. Nothing seems to work for those so I stack 'em up like cords of wood in my cabinet. Very frustrating for an Exhibit collector. Anyone found anything useful?

I have about 60 SGC cards (among others) and want to get a decent box for them. From your experiences which is better: Pennzoni display boxes, or the MJ Roop archival boxes??

james - I would say it really depends on whether you want to view the cards or store them - the mj roop boxes are for storage - they look real nice, but are not designed to view the cards (though I guess they could be set up to allow buyers to flip through the slabs). The mj roop boxes are probably more space efficient as well.

The Pennzoni Oak storage boxes are what I use for my T206 collection. The only "problem" I have is that I place the slabs inside resealable graded card sleeves (for that extra touch of geekiness) so I can only use one of the three divider. (If you just put the slabs inside the box, you can use all three.)

I would be cautious with that...Is the plastic archival safe? Will it yellow the slabs?

I have no idea. I keep the slabs in individual sleeves to keep them scratch free, and have stored a 1963 Fleer FB graded set in them since 2000. I dont see any problems yet. Will the sleeves protect them and thank you for your concern. Joe

I believe that they will fit fine. however, if you call roop, you will almost always get s/o that knows the product real well (still a small operation I believe) and can answer that question (Ive called several times and spoken to the same person nearly every time - he knows the product, the various slabs used by grading cos. and what will fit and will not fit).
