that was fast.....the stats look dimaggioesque,someone who could run.not the 6'3" lumbering dale alexander. what a rookie year! donald honig writes "alexanders .367 cost foxx the triple crown..despite his potent bat his slowness afoot & adventuresome ways with ground balls forced his departure from the big leagues at the age of 30. dale was a DH born before his time." |
