| Reverse (Backward) Ghost Image ...

Posted By: Scott Gross I was thumbing through a recent lot purchase of e90's and I came upon this Wallace. Although I'm not a ghost-hunter, I thought is was neat. Then I realized (being as dyslexic as you can get), the ghost was reversed. Having read many treads on this board on "ghosts" I agree most are made from two wet sheets being place on top of each other, or some other print error. BUT, how do you get a reverse ghost ???? |

Posted By: Glenn Perhaps I'm missing something, but wouldn't the image have to be reversed if it's a result of the top sheet of cards being laid on top of a wet sheet? I presume both sheets are facing in the same direction. |

Posted By: T206Collector ...the detail in the ghost is too good for it to be explained by a wet sheet transfer? Wet sheet transfers are never even, often splotchy and do not have the kind of detail present here. I agree it explains the reverse image, but it raises questions about detail. |
