Maybe a long lost cousin or even a long lost neighbor... greater chance of the neighbor if the cabinet was done in Chicago... |

With that mustache style, I guess there are a lot of 'Cap Ansons' when looking through old photos. |

Try my N162 card of Anson for comparison. The artwork was probably done from an 1880's picture. |

Hi Joe- everyone goes through the phase of looking at old photos and hoping to find an Anson or a Harry Wright in the bunch. I've been looking for 25 years and still waiting for my first one. I'm 0 for about a million. It probably won't happen, but hope springs eternal. |

Hope is what keeps me going sometimes... I hope to find a BIG FIND someday... ok, maybe I have a better chance of winning a $300 million lotto jackpot. Could you imagine having $10 million to spend on vintage cards? Ok, it's time for me to wake up and keep looking... |

Collecting antique photos is in and of itself a hobby. It doesn't have to depict someone famous to be collectable. |
