T210 Old Mill Card Production

I picked up a dublicate Lucia T210, and I noticed something interesting when comparing the 2 cards. The centering of the photo in relationship to the red borders was quite a bit different when comparing the 2 cards.

My guess is that the T210 were initially a sheet of photos and then the red borders were "overlayed" to the image.

Here is a scan of both cards so you can see the difference.

since the border is entirely one color and the rest of the card is entirely another, they are on different printing plates.

since they are different printing plates, they can move independently of each other.

so, the red (or black) can move in diverging directions during the normal printing process.
