Johnny Evers T206 or something else?

Hi, I am a Cubs fan and have had this card in my collection for a couple of years. I don't know a lot about vintage cards and rare issues etc, and I noticed that this card said Johnny Evers, Boston instead of Chicago for the team at the bottom of the card. I can't seem to find the card listed in the Annual beckett and I didn't know of any information on this card. If anyone has any info on it that would be great. I scanned the front and back just in case that helps identify anything but I don't know how to post the scans up. I could email them to someone who knows how so that others may be able to help!! Really appreciate in info.!

It's a t213. PSA has labelled the card wrong. You can tell from the blue lettering on the front. Also, of course the cigarettes that it came with were called "Coupon" which did not issue t206 cards.

Well - it's not at T206. It's a T-213. I don't know about Evers and when/if he played for Boston, but www.baseball-reference.com might help you there. The T213's used a lot of T206 poses, so that would explain the Chicago uniform.

That's about all I know, but I'm sure there will be a deluge of more detailed info to follow, from people much more knowledgeable than I am.

I submitted a t213-2 evers to psa about 7 or 8 years ago and I wrote t213-2 on the submit sheet. I was just re-entering the hobby and was shocked that they crossed out where I wrote t213 and labeled it 'T206'. I dont remember the paperloss at the top of the back, but that might be the one I sent in. I'm sure it has happened more than once.

Edited to add- that is a nice card and worth more than a t206 with a sweet caporal or piedmont back.
