Pre-1900 Team Photo help

This one may be difficut. Curious if anyone has a photo like this...different position same players etc. Does appear with players ages that could be proffesional league team but i'm clueless....

Probably a semi-pro team circa 1885-early 90s. Nice clean uniforms, well dressed manager, but only nine players means it was probably a town team that was well financed.

It looks like you can see the name written at the bottom - "Carleton nine"?

edited to add - looks like it is also dated 1893?

They look kind of young, so low level professional team at best, more likely amateurs. But a very nicely posed image.
