We've all had one, you must agree. A card so sharp, a pleasure to see.
A card just oozing color...so nifty. Its centering?..oh yes, ...its fifty-fifty!
And corners, so knife-like under 10X, they won't pass security at LAX.
This one's no Nine, no Nine's this fine. An Eight you say? My God, no way!
A Seven has flaws, a Six has wear...this guy's a Ten, pristine, I declare!
Two day service....well worth the price. This pristine blazer is oh so nice.
The email says: "Your grades are ready". Get ready fingers...steady... steady.
Type in the sub, then my zip 11035, my card is graded... a PSA 5?
What's this? No way! It cannot be! Why has PSA done this to me?
The days drag, the mail is so slow. But Friday does come and the box does show.
Black light, high power, now let's re-scan it. A 5? PSA 5? no way... goddammit.
This weekend, Hofstra, I'll go to the show. PSA is there, they'll change it, I know.
So Saturday at ten, past Gehrig and Ruth, I run fast as I can to the PSA booth.
"My card is a ten, gem mint can't you see?" "Re-grade it now please, no matter the fee".
The grader peers, his eyes in a crinkle. "Right here...on the back a 1/4 inch wrinkle"!!
Sadly, I leave, walk out...hail a cab. As soon as I'm home, I crack out that slab.
My card is now free, I've done my duty. Don't care what they say, my card is a beauty!
