you see the #311 and automatically think of Mickey Mantle. It is amazing that I can remember card numbers from all the sets that I have made over the years.

If I could not fall asleep at night I would sometimes try to list the most popular card that Topps made in order and see how high I could go.

Ex. #1 Pafko, #2 55' Williams .......... Some are pretty hard to have a great card, but it is fun to see if I can remember a popular card if not a great card.

you have memorized all the grading company submission numbers that you have outstanding, and check the websites repeatedly each week even though you know the turnaround time is weeks away.

or

If you're watching an old movie, instead of watching the movie, you think of the card sets issued in either the (a) year of production or (b) the year the movie was set in. This is particularly true if you are watching a movie with your wife that she picked out.
