Posted By: RC I was finally able to pick up my last T-206 Red. It took a little longer than I suspected because the others seemed to turn up pretty easily in my price range whereas the Bescher Hands In Air seemed to demand a little higher dollar. |

Posted By: T206Collector ...this card (and a couple of other signed ones I bought) have made me at least pseudo-curious about collection T201's. The signatures just make this card complete, in my humble opinion. I have never seen a dual-signed pre-war card before, and am wondering whether anyone else ever has? |

Posted By: Marc S. that there is at least one 19th century team cabinet card that was signed by multiple players of the team on the back. Does that count? I do not specifically remember which auction it was from...but I'm pretty sure I do remember it. |

Posted By: Bob I don't think you'll ever find a multi player card from the prewar era with multiple autographs like your T201. That is definitely a great card. How did you pick it up, private sale, auction, ebay? |

Posted By: T206Collector ...in a private sale from an autograph dealer. I primarily try to acquire signed T206 cards, but his small collection of signed T201's was too good to pass up. The signed Meyers-Doyle was the only one dual-signed. |

Posted By: Jeff Lichtman Joe, I don't have a clue but it certainly does not look like a base. Additionally, I can't imagine a scenario which would have Cobb reaching out for a ball so close to a base -- from right field. |

Posted By: leon Great story about the center fielder.....since we are OT here's one...when I was in the Marine Corps (long ago) we were playing tackle football...At the time I was wearing glasses..and still do. It was the last play of the game and we were up by more than a touchdown....again, time was already called. The guy running with the ball was headed to the end zone and only I was between him and it. I dove into his knees and tackled him. Five stiches to my eyebrow later I was still happy he didn't get in (we would have won either way though)......oh the days of being young.....sorry, I had to throw this story in somewhere....regards |
