Posted By: Matt sorry - should I edit my post? I should be more sensitive to letting you decide when and how you want to come out and let everyone know the back of your card is messed up. I understand that "outing" a messed up card back is the card owners personal decision. Please don't report me to the HR department. |

Posted By: Bob Paul- Congrats on securing what may be the toughest card to find in the M116 set (not counting the 2 team variations of McConnell and McQuillan). I searched for several years for one so I toast your acquisition. |

Posted By: Turner Engle Hi Guys...Actually it is a vertical crease that goes thru the left border that is hard to pick up in the scan. There is also no paperloss on the front. This is one of my favorites and is beautiful in hand. |

Posted By: Chris Bland looks to me like the makers of the card might have colored the ball darker so that it would show up against the light background and his hand. just a guess though... |

Posted By: Paul Thanks Denny. I've always loved cards with Sepia photos. I did notice that ball too. Not sure why its so dark. I viewed a Matty photo recently with a "black ball", but I cant remember what card or photo it was at the moment. |

Posted By: Dave F Thanks Josh, but you can probably see the couple spots of paperloss on the back. I don't think there is any doubt this one must have been in an album or something for a long time. |

Posted By: Bob Dave- You will be smart if you don't try to cross this over to SGC. I have an identical E94 Magee with the same beautiful front and sharp corners as your Lobert, truly a gem, with a similar paper loss on the back and it is in a 20 holder. Fantastic Lobert, congrats. |
